In this role, you have the opportunity to

Work at the heart of the Company’s strategy and to play a critical role in the development of solutions, including Long Term Strategic Partnerships (LSP), that are both technically and commercially meeting the needs and requirements for the Customer and Philips.

You are responsible for

  • Supports and advises the Markets and the Global Head of Risk Management Markets by the pro-active identification, assessment, mitigating and monitoring of risks (strategic, operational, financial, legal/ compliance) related to Solutions including LSP’s

  • Is responsible for Solution (including LSPs) risk management activities for a qualified Solutions funnel with a total value ranging from more than €100 million to around €500 million

  • Provides dedicated risk management on High complex deals (Innovative solutions, deals with a clinical services, major construction works, Usage- based or value based payment element, containing customer financing or equity, with a total contract value up to €100 million, or deals in high and extreme risk countries, with an average deal size between €10 million and €100 million, or less complex deals, with an average deal size as of €3 million up to €10 million

  • Executes the Delivery Risk Management activities via Execution Risk Assessments on High Complex LSP projects

  • Acts as an independent advisor and trusted business partner for Solution teams while advising Markets and Businesses Management in their decision making by the pro-active identification, assessment, and driving follow-up an closure of risks (strategic, operational, financial, compliance) via the technical and delivery risk assessment and commercial risk assessments integrated in the deal board process

  • Drives compliance with the global Deal Board process applicable for LSP’s

  • Acts as advisory member for less complex deals at Deal board 1, and acts as a delegate for the Global Head of Risk Management for high complex deals when she is conflicted as decision maker

  • Coordinates and seek alliances with internal Market, Business and Functional Representatives to obtain an optimal use of resources within the company providing options to address the risks identified and leverage best practices and learnings across the Markets

  • Drives compliance with the Due Diligence screening process for Strategic Business Partners in Solutions including LSPs

  • Support with the process improvement activities taken at central level, through actively working on projects and validating and testing adjustments

  • You are a part of

    an incredibly talented team, responsible for bridge enabling functions and are close to the businesses in the Markets. Further you will team up with senior and executive management at decision making level.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Masters degree (finance, accounting, business administration, risk management, MBA or equivalent)

  • Professional in the field of commercial and project risk management;

  • Able to effectively manage multiple low/medium/high complex opportunities and projects topics under pressure

  • Understands a multinational environment and its complexity

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills

  • Able to receive and provide constructive feedback and coach others for their development

  • Consistent and balanced behavior and leads by example

  • Has professional knowledge of related disciplines

  • Enhances the risk awareness culture in the company

  • Certified LEAN Advance
