About the role: We are seeking to appoint a Receptionist/Administrator (Apprentice) to join our team from October 2021. Our successful candidate will be pivotal to the smooth running of the school office - you’ll be the first point of contact for many members of the academy and external stakeholders, and will be able to turn your hand to any admin-related task that is required. Applicants should be professional, personable and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of Strood Academy, and above all else, our appointed candidate will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. Applicants should also be highly confident in many aspects of IT, and will be expected to utilise the Google Suite of tools for most aspects of their work.
This role is offered as an 12-18 month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidate will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships. Click here to read more about LAT Apprenticeships.
Annual wage: £10,000 per annum
Working weeks: Monday - Friday throughout the full year
Total hours per week : 37 hours per week (including the 20% training element of the Apprenticeship Programme)
Apprenticeship duration: 12 - 18 months
Programme delivery type: All modules are delivered as online learning which can be completed at your place of work

We endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme. Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2021, our Trust will comprise 31 geographically organised academies (15 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 2,500 talented staff.
