The opportunity: We are looking for exceptional candidates to primarily work within the transaction services and restructuring areas of the team. You will support our Christchurch based team as well as the national Deal Advisory practice. For this role we are looking for exceptional candidates with approximately 1-3 years working experience preferably in the private sector within an accounting practice or equivalent.
Day to day you will: Produce clear and well-presented documents and reports Contribute to the delivery of engagements as part of a high performing project team. Analyse problems, identify core issues, investigate and formulate solutions, ensuring recommendations to clients is technically sound and aligned with clients’ needs Assist the team in identifying and pursuing business opportunities Apply an awareness and understanding of the general business and economic environments in undertaking engagements
What you'll bring to our team: A passion for developing solutions to challenging strategic, commercial and financial issues across a range of sectors You will have or be working towards a Chartered Accountant qualification or have a similar level finance/business related qualification 1-3 years’ relevant experience A passion for achieving positive results and adding value for our clients An ability to communicate solutions to complex issues in a simple, accessible way An appetite to learn new skills in a challenging and supportive environment Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills, combined with high attention to detail
