Insight Manager

We are looking for an insight manager on a 10 month contract, someone who can come in & hit the ground running.

  • Pro-actively identifies trends and/or root cause analysis to help steer operational activities.
  • Peer reviews analytical output from junior members of the team and actively coaches improvement.
  • Responds effectively and efficiently to complex ad-hoc requests for analysis and insight and pro-actively identifies areas for further investigation to enhance commercial decision making.
  • Acts as data consultant for other areas of the business to ensure any tests or website changes have gone through the correct procedures to ensure full visibility of data.
  • Effective sharing of analytical knowledge and output, throughout the business and throughout the team to improve overall performance.
  • Provides internal and external analytical support through a high understanding of Analytical tools and techniques.
  • Supports the team manager in work allocation, and pro-active understanding of analysis needs.
  • Requirements

  • Ability to prioritise own and teams workload proactively
  • Experience of delivering detailed insight and analytics to meet business needs
  • Experience of responding efficiently to complex ad-hoc requests for insight and information
  • Experience of working and managing a controlled work management environment
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, SQL/SAS and Relational Database Design
  • Experience of collating data from multiple sources for analytical purposes
  • Experience of communicating with and presenting detailed findings to all levels of the business
  • Ability to work independently and act as a senior member of a team
