The Opportunity

We are looking for an engineer to facilitate the operation of an Adobe product within the Azure GovCloud platform. The ideal candidate would have experience in deploying and operating applications within a public cloud environment in accordance to defined controls and operating practices. The candidate will serve as the official control operator for critical security and regulatory controls.

What you'll Do

  • Own the application production environment within the Azure GovCloud infrastructure.
  • Work with the application development team and other production tool owners to resolve production issues.
  • Work with others to establish a vision for the future state of FedRamp compliance environment using innovation and automation in conjunction with evolving with best practices.
  • Tackle issues with automated ticketing and aid in performing root cause analysis for issues that could be addressed with future ticketing or tooling improvements.
  • Apply security standards and controls to daily operations and practices. Identify and retain evidence of effective control design and operation. Describe and attest to control implementation and operational detail with relevant internal and external audit parties.
  • What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (or equivalent proven experience) in security operations and application development.
  • Candidate must be a United States citizen to meet the compliance requirements related to FedRAMP and other compliance initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of common security operations practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps or DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Manage our uptime and performance using service level indicators and objectives
  • Proven understanding of Linux commands and syntax.
  • Solid understanding of Python.
  • Knowledge of common public cloud operations - Azure and AWS preferred.
  • Knowledge of security controls and common frameworks (ISO 27000, FedRAMP, SOC 2, etc)
  • Experience in government systems and authorities operate (Fisma, NIST 171, FedRAMP) architecture/design is a plus.
  • Ability to address and remediate production issues while working with different teams across multiple geographies.
  • Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

    Colorado Starting Salary: $127,000 - $164,900

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
